Our police-accredited Street Rangers are our eyes and ears on the ground; supporting businesses with day-to-day issues such as antisocial behaviour, shoplifting, minor crimes and Police matters.
Supporting businesses and our Ranger team, the town centre radio system, RadioLink, is a vital tool to report and resolve issues in the town. The scheme provides a direct line of communication between local businesses and the Street Rangers, and connects the Street Rangers with Police. Want to join our RadioLink scheme? We have invested in an improved CCTV network in the town centre; providing a stronger resource for monitoring, reporting and convicting crimes.
DISC / Exclusion Scheme
We provide the town centre's DISC system; a platform for managing antisocial behaviour and maintaining an exclusion policy for repeat offenders.
A forum for licensed premises; working with local law enforcement to reduce antisocial behaviour and develop the reputation for safety in the town centre's bars, clubs, pubs and general nightlife.
