Graphic design students get creative for Ipswich Vision

Ipswich Vision is a partnership project which brings together key organisations to create the successful county town centre which Ipswich and Suffolk expect and deserve through supporting regeneration, better transport, shopping and improvements to public spaces and public buildings. The university’s second year Graphic Design students have been tasked with creating a new logo and style for the project. They will showcase their work in May, when the exhibition will be visited by the Ipswich Vision board. Hayley Mace, Head of Communications at Ipswich Vision project partner New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership, said: “Ipswich Vision is a really exciting project with lots going on, but we now need an exciting ‘look’ to be able to really shout about all the things we’re doing and make sure that the people of Ipswich and Suffolk know about us. “This is a great opportunity for the students to bring their view of Ipswich to our project and to have their work seen by key local organisations. We’re excited to see what they come up with.” Fiona Wright, Marketing Director for Ipswich Central commented "The University is a key part of the Vision for Ipswich so working with its students to create a strong identity for the project is a great opportunity for us and equally for the students." Ipswich Vision is a partnership between Suffolk County Council, Ipswich Borough Council, Ipswich Central, New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership, University of Suffolk, Ben Gummer MP and Greater Ipswich Chamber of Commerce.
