Members of the local business community attended our business hustings on 6th June, with delegates coming from a variety of businesses across the town centre and was hosted by DanceEast.
All 6 electoral candidates were there from Conservative (Ben Gummer), Labour (Sandy Martin), Liberal Democrats (Adrian Trett), UKIP (Tony Gould), Green Party (Charlotte Armstrong) and the Independent candidate (David Tabane) giving their views on current economic and policitical issues and answering questions from the audience.
Main points of discussion were skills and education, how to encourage visitors to Ipswich and what the candidates propose to do to help Small and Medium Businesses.
This was the last hustings for the candidates before the General Election on 8th June 2017.
