Football Fans are invited to a special family friendly screening of the UEFA Women’s EURO Final 2025 to cheer on the Lionesses at St Stephen’s Church in Ipswich town centre on Sunday 27 July – with the build-up and bar open from 3pm and the final shown live on the big screen from 5pm.
This special event – organised by Ipswich Central and Brighten the Corners – offers the chance for fans to come together to cheer on the England Women’s team as they play in the final, in Basel, against Spain. Victory would see England crowned champions of Europe for a second time, having lifted the trophy at the previous tournament in 2022 on home soil at Wembley Stadium.
Whether you’ve been following the tournament with family, it’s the talk of the office or you’d like to come together with friends to enjoy the final match, this unique screening of such an important game promises to be a memorable experience in a unique setting.
Lee Walker, Ipswich Central CEO, says: “We’re thrilled that once again St Stephen’s Church will be bringing fans together to enjoy an exciting final. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy a football final in an iconic venue in the town centre.”
Joe Bailey, CEO of Brighten the Corners adds: “We’re delighted to be linking up to host this free event at St Stephen’s Church for people to come and enjoy the Women’s Euro Final. Our bar will be open on Sunday 27 July from 3pm to show the build-up and full match coverage, as we all cheer the team on.”
St Stephen’s Church is a music venue that can hold up to 200 people with a café/bar that is managed by Brighten The Corners (BTC). Find out more about the venue here: www.brightenthecorners.co.uk/our-venues
