FORKNIGHT returns to Ipswich 15 to 31 May 2026, celebrating the many fantastic eateries around Ipswich town centre with special food offers for all to enjoy.
This annual celebration of cafes and restaurants in Ipswich, run by Ipswich Central, the business improvement district, is a celebration of the wonderful array of eateries in the town centre for all tastes and budgets.
Last year’s promotion saw around fifty special offers at participating venues enjoyed by hundreds of people, with The Greyhound and Moto Pizza two top destinations attracting many new and happy customers through their doors thanks to the campaign, and this year, once again fifty fantastic food overs will hope to entice eating out in town.
This year, eateries around the town will again be offering some fantastic breakfast, brunch, lunch and evening meal deals to entice food-lovers ranging from Best of British pub classics to specialist cafes and restaurants offering European, American or Asian inspired cuisine – so there is something to appeal to everyone’s taste!
Lee Walker, Ipswich Central Chief Executive, said: “Our Forknight campaign shines a spotlight on the incredible variety of food to be enjoyed in Ipswich town centre.
From 15 to 31 May eateries will showcase special offers on their signature dishes that capture the best on their menu. It’s the perfect opportunity to explore somewhere new – perhaps a type of cuisine you’ve never tried before – with friends and family for less than the usual cost.”
FORKNIGHT is a campaign for foodie lovers created by Ipswich Central, with offers collated and promoted on the All About Ipswich website run by the BID at www.allaboutipswich.com/forknight
Lee Walker added: “It’s quite simple, visit the Forknight page on the All About Ipswich website, select an offer that inspires you and arrange to eat out at one of the participating venues quoting Forknight when ordering to receive their special offer.”
All participating venues will promote their involvement with promotional materials, and the full list of participating venues will be available on the morning of 15 May when the campaign launches.
