This year’s Christmas Tree Festival at Ipswich Minster (28 November to 7 December 2025) in the heart of the town centre promises to be the biggest and best yet, with help from the team at Ipswich Central.
In the 14 years that the Christmas Tree Festival has been taking place, the celebration has grown year on year and last year around ten thousand people enjoyed the ten-day festival, averaging a thousand visitors a day!
The annual festive festival typically has around one hundred differently decorated trees, all sponsored by community groups, charities and many local Ipswich businesses. Visitors will also find craft activities inside for younger children and a café offering hot drinks and cake staffed by church volunteers each day when the church is open to the public.
Lee Walker, CEO of Ipswich Central, said: “Ipswich Minster’s annual Christmas Tree Festival is a wonderful free festive celebration that the whole town enjoys. It really shows the spirit of community as everyone comes together and we are proud to be supporting the festival this year as a great public event in the town.”
Reverend Tom Mumford, Vicar at Ipswich Minster, said: “This year’s Christmas Tree Festival is our first since becoming Ipswich Minster and our amazing team have put together a fantastic programme, partnering with Ipswich Central as champions for our town centre businesses.”
