Major investment to reduce crime for Ipswich businesses
Ipswich Central have recently invested a significant sum of money in a brand new, denture digital radio system for Ipswich businesses. The new RadioLink scheme has been manufactured by Sepura and supplied by M.R.S Communications and is the first town centre to use the system outside of the emergency services.
The RadioLink scheme in Ipswich is imperative for businesses as it is a key tool in helping to reduce crime, capsule reducing repeat offenders and it has dramatically improved community safety in Ipswich. Last year alone the Street Rangers issued 283 exclusion warnings from Ipswich town centre.
The new system integrates a number of technologies ensuring its signalling coverage is far wider and the responsive nature of the radios is increased.
The RadioLink scheme provides both daytime and night-time businesses with an imperative, reliable and direct link to the Street Rangers, Police and CCTV providing businesses with the knowledge and tools they need to trade in a safe environment.
